Internal Auditor, Monetization & Metrics

Meta is seeking an auditor to join the Internal Audit Family of Apps Monetization & Metrics team to perform operational audits and readiness reviews for ad products. The auditor will be responsible for evaluating risks and controls around ad product integrity functionalities, machine learning models, data pipelines, and various metrics calculation. The ideal candidate will have audit experience working with state-of-the-art homegrown engineering systems, building relationships, analyzing large data sets, proficient in technical areas, and abilities to learn new processes and systems quickly. In addition, the candidate will need to exhibit technical, project management, and communication skills necessary to navigate a complex environment and cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders.   • Participate in continuous risk assessments to update the audit strategy and audit plan according to emerging high-risk areas.
  • Perform complex audits and control assessments for ad product integrity functionalities including planning, execution, remediation, and post remediation validation.
  • Review and test machine learning models used for Meta’s ad integrity processes.
  • Deliver progress updates and audit results to Internal Audit management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships across Meta with Integrity, Monetization Product and Engineering, as well as Legal stakeholders.
  • Build subject matter expertise in industry areas and stay up to date on technological and regulatory developments.
  • Promote data analytics and automation in completion of audit testing and innovate efficient ways to execute projects to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of internal audits.
  • Draft risk-based audit reports and recommendations to improve control processes to executive management that clearly present audit results.
  • Effectively manage the performance and integration of co-sourced audit partners to ensure unified team efforts in audit execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Big 4, Management Consulting, Trust & Safety, Risk Management, Business/Data Analyst, and/or Internal Audit, IT auditing or data analytics.
  • BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience executing and supporting audits in areas such as ad technology, content moderation, trust and safety.
  • Problem solving skills that demonstrate critical thinking and “outside-the-box” approach to reach a solution.
  • Experience in end-to-end project management, risk assessment, systems evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, experience in effective interactions with business partners.
  • Experience in auditing proprietary in-house built systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of professional auditing certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP or CRISC.
  • Understanding of advertisement, privacy, e-commerce, cloud computing, operating systems, web technologies.
  • Experience Leveraging Data Analytics/Artificial Intelligence: Previous experience using data analytics/AI to streamline audit execution.
  • Experience in interacting with Engineering teams and building relationships, and delivering value to the engineering and product teams.
  • Experience flourishing in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity and stay on top of business and product changes that could affect compliance requirements.
  • Subject matter knowledge in understanding risks/controls for in-house built systems.
  • Proficient with SQL or other programming languages.

US$90,000/year to US$130,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
