Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant’s assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world. Three UK plants have a part to play in MINI production – Plant Hams Hall makes engines, Plant Swindon produces body pressings and sub-assemblies for MINI, and all this comes together at Plant Oxford with body shell production, paint and final assembly.
MINI Plant Oxford – IT Developer/Operations Feature Team Internship – 13-Month Placement (July 2026)
Our IT Infrastructure department are responsible for the onsite infrastructure, covering the network, servers, telephone and all end devices (PCs, Printers, AV etc.). Throughout your placement you will be responsible for support, assistance and some end user training for our internal customers. You will have the opportunity to be involved in many exciting projects throughout the year. You will also participate in all areas of IT Infrastructure, as a learning experience.
What awaits you?
We are currently recruiting an intern to support IT Services based at MINI Plant Oxford – The Internship is for 13 months commencing July 2026. As a member of the IT Services Team, you will be expected to take the initiative and be responsible for small IT projects from inception to delivery. You will also be working as an integrated part of bigger project teams. You need to be flexible and adaptable depending on the business requirements.
