Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job!An opportunity has arisen for an IT Operations Manager to be responsible for ensuring the ongoing delivery of pro-active maintenance and reactive support for infrastructure and network related issues required to support the business. Responsible for the management of a team of IT infrastructure analysts and a number of key third party support contracts and budgets to ensure the availability of key IT infrastructure components. Provide support to the Head of IT Service Delivery & Infrastructure and the strategic design and delivery of new Infrastructure technologies and related projects in line with business requirements.At Speedy, we want to help you develop and progress; but we’ll need you to demonstrate these skills and attributes for us to be able to support you…What you’ll need:Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Demonstrates potential for growth within the company
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and participate in multiple, concurrent projects
Experience in managing projects through to completion
Self-starter with the initiative to identify and act upon opportunities without direction
Experience of technical service delivery
Experience of undertaking daily infrastructure operational tasks
Experience of managing a technical team
Experience of designing enterprise systems
Ability to manage multi million pound budgets
