OverviewAre you passionate about driving growth and enabling talent development? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning & Development Lead. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Heads of Learning & Development (L&D) in designing, delivering, and embedding all L&D activities across Gallagher Global Brokerage (GGB) UK and EMEA.
How you’ll make an impactDelivery of the L&D strategy through L&D activities to enable the business, promote growth and drive highperformance including but not limited to:
- Act as product owner for assigned BAU L&D activities (for example leadership development; women’s development; early careers; coaching) and provide end-to-end management of product delivery within
the business. * Partner with HRBPs as and when necessary to identify and understand individual and organisational needs and work collaboratively to deliver the best solutions for the business.
- Advise and consult with the business on suitable, cost effective and sustainable L&D solutions
- Responsible for relevant reporting and management information relate to assigned products
- Investigate and look to utilise different technologies to deliver innovative learning solutions
- Keep up to date with the latest innovations in L&D and seek to understand external best practice to inform learning design in Gallagher
Project & Programme Managment
- Act as Project lead for any newly assigned L&D projects as an when required; developing programme design as appropriate
- Collaborate with other L&D Leads to support other ad hoc L&D projects and activities as required
Relationship Management
- Provide key stakeholders with relevant updates, key successes, learnings, and additional suitable solutions. Remaining focused on the value and return on investment provided from the solutions for colleagues and future capability requirements
- Management of relationships with external partners including regular evaluation, quality and cost assurance and review.
About You
- CIPD or L&D equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a learning and development role in a fast paced environment with competing demands (highly desirable)
- Project/Programme and/or Change Management experience
- Significant relationship building experience including working effectively across all levels of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to explain complicated concepts and requirements to different audiences
- Proactive approach to problem solving
