You will lead a small team to deliver DAZN’s National League, National League North & National League South live & non-live coverage. You will be a highly motivated, proven leader with strong editorial standards & a powerful work ethic & your knowledge of football needs to be first class.You must possess strong people management skills and will work closely with the Head of Football on this and other projects & will have line management duties.You will manage key relationships with other internal departments as well as the National League’s management team, so a proven ability to maintain and improve relationships across a broad spectrum will be essential.You will be responsible for producing & directing innovative live & non-live National League content across different platforms, working closely with DAZN’s Social Media teams to integrate DAZN’s social media output into the production process in order to reach as wide an audience as possible and will also be expected to work on other sports when the football calendar permits.You will be directly involved in the creative process & will be expected to run this and other projects from conceptualisation to execution.   • Produce live & non-live National League programming on-site & remotely
  • Direct live matches and other programming as required
  • Work in live TV galleries & OB trucks leading editorial direction in a live on-air environment
  • Lead a team of producers & assistant producers to develop & deliver ideas
  • Find, lead & work with a wide variety of freelance staff, including commentators, talent, technical and editorial staff
  • Work to tight deadlines, delivering on time & under budget
  • Work closely with internal & external partners to improve the quality of coverage
  • Schedule staff, book & coordinate external contributors & companies
  • Develop & deliver Development Plans for staff and provide regular feedback to enable everyone to achieve their goals and progress their careers

You’ll have:

  • Creative and innovative with an ability to translate ideas into compelling story telling
  • A proven leader who can set clear targets, & support staff to achieve them
  • Ability to produce live and non-live programmes
  • Proven track record in live match directing – on football and other sports
  • Experience of working within budget, quickly & accurately, often under pressure
  • Ability to edit with Premiere Pro & a willingness to master DAZN’s systems
  • Excellent knowledge of National League football & an interest in sports in general
  • The ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Perform, its products and services, the Digital and Sports Media sectors, our competitors and apply commercial expertise and judgement to this knowledge to deliver better business outcomes
