The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Sales Operations organization is looking for a Management Information Systems Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA.

The Sales Operations organization is within BGS Commercial Sales and Marketing and supports the global selling team. This position will provide a unique opportunity to support and further develop the operating rhythm of the sales teams, ensure leadership has the necessary data to drive business decisions, improve internal processes and tools, and drive efficiency to better support the greater Commercial Sales team. The team is looking to fill a mid-level position.

Specifically, this management information systems position will establish and maintain close working relationships with Sales Operations, Regional Account Sales, Cash Management, and Business Unit Sales leadership along with Business Operations and fellow Sales Operations team members to lead and support the Commercial Sales operating rhythm.

This role will track key metrics, project manage strategic objectives, process customer executive meeting requests with BGS leadership team members, improve processes via digital tools (i.e. Salesforce, M365,Tableau etc.), monitor and improve key compliance initiatives for the organization, collect and synthesize data to create analytical reports and presentations to support senior leadership decision-making, understand and represent business end-user needs for future digital process improvements, and process briefing papers to support BGS leadership and executive customer engagements. This position provides the opportunity to demonstrate strong operational and analytical skills to both enhance the business objectives and support the Commercial Sales team. This role will also support logistical tasks related to the execution of our Product and Professional Development training for the greater commercial sales and marketing organization.

A successful candidate will facilitate and lead Sales Operations meetings and other projects with confidence and professionalism. The candidate must be a self-starting learner capable of working within a fast-paced environment coupled with quick-turn deadlines. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with fellow Sales Operations colleagues including senior executives and managers. The candidate must be self-motivated to complete tasks with minimal direction and be forward-thinking to anticipate operational needs and actions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Operations leadership with supporting the operating rhythm of our global commercial sales team.

  • Perform analysis and compile executive-level reports and presentations for decision-making.

  • Collect and manage briefing papers to support executive customer engagements.

  • Manage and track sales requests for customer meetings with senior leadership.

  • Lead special projects and facilitate applicable meetings, including air show/industry conference announcement planning and new digital process implementation.

  • Manage budget and process for Commercial Sales company contribution requests.

  • Monitor and improve awareness of key compliance initiatives.

  • Develop proficiency using digital tools (including Salesforce and Microsoft 365).

  • Provide digital transformation requirements to the developer team and integrate technology to improve the current operating rhythm.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Skilled project management

  • Experienced in data analysis

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Expert Microsoft Office Skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or Tableau

  • Experience creating and/or building data visualizations via Salesforce and/or Tableau

  • Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) tools in a business environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: 90,950 – 123,050
