Manufacturing Supervisor Job Duties
:
- Responsible for the day-to day safety, operation of the department and its employees on the shop floor
- Assist in the training of new hire employees and ongoing education for the team
- Coordinate with management and/or employees from other departments in the manufacturing/fabrication/assembly process
- Expedite shop order through the departments
- Responsibilities will include policy enforcement, oversight of performance management, and timekeeping.
Schedule
: Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm – 1:00 am
Pay: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
Manufacturing Supervisor Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a steel, metal or industrial manufacturing environment
- Proficient with performance management, including plans of action and evaluations
- Able to read blueprints
- Excellent communication skills; able to converse professionally with shop and office employees
- Consistent shop floor presence (2/3 of shift)
