Marketing Proposal Manager

Are you a marketing professional experienced in managing complex proposals from start to finish? A multidisciplinary engineering firm in Tacoma is looking for a dynamic Marketing Proposal Manager to join their growing team!  

This engineering firm specializes in civil and structural engineering, planning, landscape architecture and land surveying for the public and private sectors for over 50 years. In this Marketing Proposal Manager role, you will be a critical part of the marketing team by managing the scheduling and preparation of proposals as well as managing a smooth end-to-end proposal process to ensure their clients expectations are being met.

Marketing Proposal Manager Responsibilities:  

• Manage and assign proposals, rosters, and SOQs to yourself and marketing staff to ensure proper workload balance across the department  

• Manage the end-to-end proposal process from initial planning through delivery for all aspects related to the proposal process (outline, kick off meetings, project scheduling, QC reviews, workflow, etc)

• Communicate status of all active proposals to marketing director and team in weekly meetings  

• Prepare proposal materials by writing drafts of the project and lead the collection and assembly of materials for all proposals and SOQs

• Manage and guide marketing coordinator and other marketing staff to support on-going proposals and projects  

Marketing Proposal Manager Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marketing role that directly supported the proposal process from end-to-end  

• Strong technical writing ability and proven ability to manage complex proposal and interview presentation tasks

• Extensive hands-on experience with design software (Indesign, Photoshop, etc) and database software CRMs (Deltek vision a plus)

• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels within an organization and the ability to mentor JR staff  

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and shift gears quickly

• Strong project management skills   

 Schedule: 

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Marketing Proposal Manager Qualifications

Compensation: $75k – $95k/yearly (+annual bonus)
