Medical AssistantJob DescriptionThe Medical Assistant is essential during the patient visit, accompanying the dermatologist in the room and promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists. This is a day shift Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. The office is located in Vienna, VA with free parking and great internal benefits for those who enjoy skin care!Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documenting all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments

Essential Skills

• 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• Experience in medical assisting and patient care

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with assisting with biopsies and minor office surgeries is a plus
• Experience with EMA EMR system is a plus
• Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field
• Non-Certified Medical Assistants will need to complete a certification program within the prescribed time period and maintain certification upon expiratio

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
