Medical Assistant**New Braunfels, TX**Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for patient check-ins and check-outs, confirming appointments, handling phone calls, data entry, rooming patients, checking vitals, chart preparation, and supporting providers with patients in the room. Your work will ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.Responsibilities

• Review messages sent from fax or email
• Check in and check out patients
• Collect co-payments
• Confirm patients’ appointments
• Answer phone calls
• Data entry
• Room patients
• Check vitals
• Prepare charts
• Support providers with patients in the room

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
