We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our Pulmonary East clinic in the Gateway Medical Center in East Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate who is personable, dependable, organized, detail oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high quality patient care.Primary duties include telephone triage, scheduling, rooming/vitals/EMR entry, giving patient instructions, review of records, and other duties as needed. We are looking for a team member who is detail oriented, strong at multitasking, able to work in a team and independently, and dedicated to high quality patient care. Prioritizing and critical thinking skills are needed, as well as excellent communication and customer service.Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. No weekends and free parking!Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:Level I – $21.66- $29.30 per hour.
Level II – $23.82 – $32.23 per hour.
Level III – $26.21 – $35.46 per hour.Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.Qualifications:

  • Must be a Credentialed Medical Assistant (AAMA, NCCT or similar are acceptable)

Minimum of 1 year experience is strongly preferredPrior pulmonary experience preferredAbility to work independently or in a team settingStrong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelinesAdditional Benefits:
