Job Description

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. BLS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire. For NJ Only: Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program which includes, at a minimum, 600 hours of instruction and encompasses training in the administration of intramuscular and subcutaneous injections . Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with medical office procedures Preferred Experience: Experience in physician office or other healthcare setting preferred. Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
