Medical Assistant Floater | Daytona Beach FLJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Medical Assistant to float within the Daytona Beach Region (Volusia Peds, CHA Daytona, Ormond Pediatrics).Responsibilities

• Perform Phlebotomy
• Performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
• Provide quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment.
• Supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating pediatric patient population.
• This floating employee will be working in various offices to support in either the MA role or dedicated Lab station.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Diploma / Certification required OR a minimum of 3 years MA experience
• Active BLS certification
• Active & valid driver’s license

Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site position in Daytona, Florida. This individual will primarily be floating within these offices but may also be required to cover in locations outside of the listed offices.Schedule:Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM + Saturdays (up to 2x/ mo) 8:00 AM – 12:00 PMAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
