Rethink Mental Illness are hiring a Support Worker to join our inspiring and friendly team at Lindsay House.Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. Lindsay House provides support to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis.Overview of a Mental Health Support Worker role:As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.Essential skills and experience required:

  • Transferable Life/Work Experience: You bring valuable experiences from your personal or professional life that can be applied to this role.
  • Listening and Empathy: You are a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient, and willing to learn.
