Overview of Position

We are seeking a Model Management Lead to join our Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence team. This role combines DataOps to deliver high quality data for modeling, MLOps to streamline the ML/AI model life cycle, and DevOps to develop lightweight prototype applications to deliver the model outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Design and construct pipelines for analytics data products; implement monitoring for pipeline, data quality and address issues
  • Collaborate with data scientists to transition models from development to production
  • Design and implement ML/AI model deployment pipelines ensuring reproducibility, scalability, and operational excellence
  • Develop and maintain monitoring systems for model performance, data drift, and system health
  • Automate model retraining, A/B testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD practices
  • Optimize model serving infrastructure for latency, throughput, and resource utilization
  • Implement model governance practices including versioning, metadata tracking, and audit trails
  • Design and implement model testing frameworks and validation procedures
  • Create and maintain documentation for MLOps processes and infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive measures
  • Develop prototype applications that deliver model outputs to end users; collaborate with application team for full production scale up.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
  • Research and recommend new technologies and frameworks
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in knowledge sharing

What you need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
  • Understanding of ML lifecycle management and MLOps principles
  • Familiarity with feature stores and ML metadata management
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and collaborative development
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Experience of data warehousing solutions (Snowflake)
  • Experience with application frameworks (Streamlit, Django, RShiny)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
  • Experience with ML model serving frameworks (TensorFlow Serving, Triton)
  • Knowledge of ML experiment tracking tools (MLflow)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems (Splunk)
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of streaming data processing (Kafka)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Understanding of data governance, data privacy and security best practices
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST APIs)

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $120,0000-$150,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
