We are looking for you!A Place to Grow Three Rivers Wingate, NC is situated on 1.5 acres of forested outdoor classroom space which offer our children and teachers opportunities to explore the woods, garden, go for nature walks, and grow through experiential learning strategies. Be a part of the only nationally franchised nature-based early learning franchise in its first location in North Carolina!Full-time or Part-time shifts (examples include 6:30am-11am, 11 am-3 pm, and 2 pm-5:30 pm, split-shift, or full-time). There is a strong preference for candidates who can be a key holder and open or close at 5:30 each day. Responsibilities will vary based on each candidate’s background and may include supporting classroom teachers with daily activities, helping children calm their big emotions, or even wiping tears after a child is hurt. A Place to Grow is a small school and our educators have the incredible opportunity to work with all classrooms and students across the school.RequirementsRequirements Prior to Hire18 years old
HS Diploma or equivalent
Negative TB Test
Fingerprinting and a Background check are required (reimbursed upon hire)
Be ready to share the joy of learning through play in a beautiful nature based setting!Training Requirements after HireComplete First Aid and CPR training within the first 90 days after hire (reimbursed upon successful completion)
NC DHHS Trainings

• Paid training on successful completion of each course!
• Between 5-20 hours are required per year based on the applicant?s position, education level and years of verifiable experience

Nice To HavesCompletion of EDU 119 (Introduction to Early Childhood Education)Completion of any courses in Early Childhood Education including Child Growth and Development -or- completion of Technical High School Education Program in Early Childhood Education in Family and Consumer Sciences EducationAttainment of CDA (Child Development Associate) certificationWe are happy to train the right person, regardless of previous experience.
