Overview

The Operations and Security Services (OSS) Outreach Specialist is part of the Sales and Business Services department, which resides on the Marketing and Communications team and reports to the Senior Product Marketing Manager. The Operations and Security Services Outreach Specialist will partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Communications, Multi-State and Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (MS-ISAC and EI-ISAC), and CIS Services teams to promote our mission and help support our growth. This individual is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of assigned campaigns including display and video ads, sponsored and organic content, emails, events, and other activities. Duties include coordinating the efforts of various departments and consistently communicating our brand message.

Salary Range: $60,500 – $103,600

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development and execution of the overall CIS marketing strategy and mission
  • Work with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the members and mission of the MS- and EI-ISAC and act as a conduit to create awareness and adoption
  • Partner with OSS internal stakeholders to plan out a calendar of program needs related to marketing and communications and to establish priorities
  • Work with stakeholders to understand each offering’s value proposition, goals, and measures of success; identify target audience segments; conduct market research; assist with campaign and product rollouts; and report on status and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team to identify and execute relevant strategies, tactics, deliverables, and campaign timelines
  • Coordinate media and advertising strategy including planning and buying, creation, and approval of deliverables for multiple CIS program areas (products and services)
  • Assist the Marketing Content and Operations teams with graphic and website requests as needed
  • Facilitate the organization of event sponsorship initiatives including working cross-functionally with the CIS Events team and stakeholders to coordinate the deliverables and adhere to event timelines
  • Present and communicate key performance metrics and campaign successes to stakeholders for MS-ISAC and EI-ISAC initiatives on a monthly and quarterly basis; highlight their impact on organization objections and member engagement
  • Travel to events as needed to provide support
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications discipline*
  • 3+ years of integrated marketing campaign management experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies
  • Experience with project tracking and/or productivity software, such as Asana or Optimizely (Welcome)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, pay attention to detail, and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • The position is open to U.S. citizens and requires a favorably adjudicated DHS Fitness Review for Public Trust Positions**

It’s a Plus if You Have:

  • Marketing experience within the cybersecurity and/or high-tech industries
  • Experience with display advertising and digital advertising campaigns
  • Experience with reporting tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe products
  • Experience with website CMS, such as WordPress or Sitecore
  • Understanding of sales and marketing automation tools including Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, and/or Marketo

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
