LHH has leaders across Canada in all major cities (including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Calgary, and Vancouver) with over 300 employees and associates to ensure depth, breadth, and scope of expertise.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a result of our continued growth, we are looking for a Partner to join our collaborative and accomplished executive search team and play a lead role in expanding our national search practice. Our colleagues are experts in finding, assessing, and delivering transformational talent to meet both the permanent and interim leadership needs of clients. As our practice leads for Executive Search, you will successfully guide clients and candidates to provide an efficient and high-touch experience from first introduction all the way through on-boarding and beyond.This opportunity will appeal to goal-oriented individuals with integrity and team spirit who are looking to further develop their career with a national leader. We have a corporate policy whereby we host community service leave days for employees to provide service to a registered charity or non-profit organization.THE ROLETo support our growth mandate, LHH Knightsbridge is currently looking to add a Partner to grow our executive search practice.Partners are responsible for proactively identifying, securing, and sustaining strong client relationships that will allow the firm to increase its market share in search and other practice areas representing our full breadth of human capital solutions.We are a supportive, well established, and tight-knit group of colleagues, excited to further build out our dynamic and growing team. We are collaborative, capable, and principled, working together to build an equitable work environment.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Effectively market the LHH Knightsbridge value proposition and services
- Provide industry expertise as a trusted advisor to clients
- Develop/identity search opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Manage multiple search assignments, delivering quality service in a timely manner
- Establish client requirements and competencies required in each assignment
- Interview candidates and maintain ongoing communication and follow up
- Negotiate contracts and manage client and candidate expectations to highest standards
- Project management, which includes allocating resources, managing projects to time, budget and quality standards, and coaching team members to ensure success
- Work collaboratively with other colleagues across the practice and the firm
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Executive Search or equivalent business management and/or professional services sales experience
- Subject matter expert in your chosen sector
- Strong business acumen and expertise; seen as a strategic advisor by your clients
- Ability to build and maintain strong consultative relationships with clients
- Ability to conduct thorough interviews to obtain a realistic assessment of candidate accomplishments, capabilities, and potential to best align to client’s position, values and culture
- Ability to partner and collaborate within teams and across the organization
