Payroll Specialist

A local Denver public relations firm is looking for a payroll specialist to join their team in a 3-6 month contract position.

Contract position – full time work, weekends off and if it seems like the perfect fit there is definitely opportunity for a permanent offer as well. 

This is a super relaxed and fun work environment with a team that feels just like family – and celebrations happen often!

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate payroll records
• Enter timecard data into Paycom
• Ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations
• Employee onboarding and verification of I9 and eVerify
• Assisting with payroll-related reporting and audits?

You’ll be successful in this role if you are a self-starter, detail orientated and reliable. 

Schedule: Monday- Friday

• 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Payroll Specialist Requirements:

• 1 year minimum experience with Paycom
• 1-3 years experience as a payroll specialist
• Extensive computer skills
• Basic HR support experience including: onboarding, eVerify, I9 verifications

Pay: $25 – $29 per hour based on experience
