Press Set up Technician – Direct Hire -Thomasville$25 – $35 per hour BOEThomasville NC The Press Setup Technician will be responsible for moving and aligning tooling within the presses, performing first piece operations, and verifying parts according to blueprints and operation sheets. Additionally, the technician will set up machines to ensure smooth production runs for operators. Local company in Thomasville is looking for someone that has Experience with press and hydraulics.a) Ensure Press & Glue equipment operates within Quality specificationsb) Ensure dies cutting correctly and adjust as neededc) Help other Operators identify defects and help to correct issuesd) Inspect Die Boards to keep finished product in spec with customers’ needse) Train other operators on what is expected in the finished productf) Repair Die Boards when possible and remove boards from floor and notify supervision when boards are no longer operationalg) Follow press set up standards and provide guidance to other Operators as needed to ensure equipment operates as intended. Expected salary
