About the Team & Business Line: 

Private Equity IT are currently looking to fill a software developer position to assist with development and maintenance of strategic financial systems. The individual in this position will participate in the development and support of multiple client-facing and internal business systems.

This position reports to the local Private Equity IT Manager. Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals that are responsible for the development and support of IT applications. The candidate will interact closely with the PE IT team and business analysts, as well as QA teams and other technical groups and resources within Citco.

Your Role: 

• You will be involved in mid to senior level development and maintenance in.NET Core, according to development best practices and current development technologies
• Design, develop, test and deliver technology based solutions as part of our Automation, Data Transformation and Reporting solutions
• Provide support for database schema design and functional development (MS SQLServer)
• Assist with design and completion of report and data extract development
• You will contribute technically to the wider PE IT initiatives to migrate solutions to AWS

About You:

• At least 3+ years of IT experience in the design and development of solutions which include some of the following:
• Web services (REST/SOAP/GraphQL),
• Windows services
• Web applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET)
• UI Development (React)
• API Programming experience in .NET, preferably .NET Core
• Experience of Docker, Containerization, AWS / Azure / GC
• Strong database experience with data structures, data manipulation, database design (OLTP, OLAP), programming (tSQL, CLR), debugging using SQL Server.
• Good knowledge in performance tuning of SQL queries to improve their performance
• Experience in debugging data related issues in a fast-paced environment for business
• Familiarity of Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN)
• Understanding of technical, functional and non-functional requirements documentation
• Willing to do application development, report development and/or application maintenance depending on needs
• Possess excellent communication skills and must be able present design, diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to a varied audience
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment with a positive attitude
• Highly desirable would be understanding/experience in working with FIS Investran or a related product.
