About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Your Role: 

• Be the representative and voice for business needs and interests throughout the software development lifecycle for data warehouse, extracts and reporting tools.
• Work alongside and guide various stakeholders to ensure consistent progress toward defined objectives and vision for the system, data, extracts and reporting
• Contribute to major initiatives such as system migrations, re-platforming, and ad-hoc projects
• Help manage multiple and often conflicting requests from an equally diverse number of stakeholders while effectively prioritizing and communicating across the collective team where required – Product, Development, Quality Assurance/QA, PM/Project Management, etc.
• Contribute to future development pipeline by identifying, analyzing and documenting changes or enhancements for new function, data/reporting accuracy or performance and assign appropriate priority
• Openly engage and effectively communicate with client and internal user requesters to solicit the right information and efficiently synthesize requirements
• Work closely with IT to ensure what is designed and built meets business requirements today and in the future and provide feedback/critique every step of the way
• Spearhead/conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), seek ways to semi-automate testing efforts and provide ongoing guidance and resources to the Quality Assurance/QA team
• Provide escalation point for production issues and orient/advise support and development teams
• Demonstrate functionality and features succinctly and effectively for various audiences over WebEx or in-person meetings
• Review and understand proposed changes to core source system(s) (AExeo/similar) and identify impact downstream
• Author value-add documentation including FAQs, user manuals, business requirements document and release notes, where required,

About You:

• You are proficient with fund accounting and/or various aspects of operations in alternative investments (Hedge Funds). Exposure to/knowledge of Fund of Funds, Private Equity, Real Assets and related/corresponding analytics and reporting a huge plus.
• Proficient on Aexeo (ideally) or similar systems
• Proficient with large data (ideally) and reporting
• Experience working with Agile software development or willingness to learn at a fast pace
• Track record in materially contributing to value-add projects from beginning to end
• Experience interfacing and collaborating with various groups
• Strong communicator and ability to connect with people/users
• Experience in test planning and execution (ideally)
• Leader, self-starter, hardworking and committed
• Quick-learner and able to anticipate next steps or follow-up requests
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a financial discipline preferred
