Job Description
The Procurement Policies, Programs and Compliance Analyst tracks the efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory procurement processes, policies and procedures with a focus on the improvement of efficiency, customer service and data integrity. The analyst reports to the Support Group Manager and strives to improve organizational performance, accuracy of process improvement due dates and cycle time for commitment to subcontract close-outs.
The Analyst will be responsible for review of subcontract documentation upon physical completion of performance to determine appropriate steps required to close the subcontract. The review entails determining the need to obtain a final property report, final patent and invention report, patent clearance, and final statement of cost, as applicable. Coordinate final cost-incurred audits and government property disposition, reconcile cost details, calculate indirect rates, review subcontract for occurrences such as foreign travel and OMB A-133 reports. Determine final cost negotiation objectives. Verify submission of final invoice and receipt of applicable Release of Claims documentation. Prepare appropriate closeout documentation. Coordinate compliance reviews and appropriate records disposition.

Basic QualificationsProfessional I Level – Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant education/experience.
Professional II Level – Relevant Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Master’s Degree or equivalent relevant education/experience.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)Job Profile: Professional II / Annual Salary Range: $63,600 – $104,900
Job Profile: Professional I / Annual Salary Range: $55,400 – $91,400
NREL takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
