  • Managing a portfolio of circa 100 properties
  • Ensuring Landlords are compliant with legislation and contractual obligations
  • Ensuring safety certificates are carried out and renewed within a timely manner
  • To renew/completed HMO/selective licensing paperwork.
  • Liaise with contractors and arrange payment for works
  • Following procedures to ensure service standards are consistent
  • Arranging repairs and maintenance within a reasonable timeframe
  • Obtaining quotes when required
  • Booking check-outs for tenancies coming to an end
  • Dealing with end of tenancy deposits within a timely manner
  • Ensuring all pre-tenancy works and pre-tenancy cleans are completed for all new tenancies
  • Arranging payment for Service Charge and Ground Rent invoices. Ensuring funds are on account to make payment, if not chase funds.
  • CRM Dashboard management
  • Dealing with insurance claims in a timely manner
  • Visiting properties at least twice per tenancy. At times this could be more – the role is not just office-based and taking a hands-on approach is essential
  • Providing an advisory, forward-thinking and bespoke service to our clients to ensure retention rates remain high
  • Seeking opportunities to increase revenue for the department and spotting any cross-selling opportunities that will benefit the company as a whole.
  • Taking initiative in resolving client issues and being proactive in keeping on top workload
  • Assisting Senior Management to resolve complaints/escalations that is related to the portfolio

  • Confident liaising with clients via phone, email and letter
  • Out of the box thinking and pro-active approach
  • Ability to work under pressure with a degree of flexibility and to take control of own workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – good communication between departments and with tenants and landlords is essential
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
