Quality Director

Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for your next opportunity? A well established aerospace manufacturer in New Century, Kansas is looking to bring on a Quality Director to join their team!  

This company specializes in the manufacturing of high-quality precision fasteners to many major aerospace suppliers such as Boeing, Airbus and Lockheed Martin. In this Quality Director role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the Quality department and their AS9100 Quality System. This role will be critical in ensuring audit compliance and quality standards are being met across the manufacturing facility.

Quality Director Responsibilities:  

• Oversee all audits of the testing facility  

• Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback  

• Understand industry specifications and requirements to develop effective quality control processes  

• Oversee the certification of product lots and review specifications for products or processes  

• Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are being met   

Quality Director Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working in a quality manager or quality lead role within a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred) 

• Extensive experience and understanding of quality control procedures and specifications  

• Full understanding of AS9100 requirements  

• Ability to read and understand hardwire prints  

• Proficient in MS Office Suite  

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm  

Compensation: $140k – $150k/yr (+annual bonus)
