Quality Technician

A manufacturing company is looking for a Quality
Technician II to join their team!

This company has been in business for over 50 years. They
manufacture and distribute a wide range of pipe products for the waterworks and
wastewater industries- all made here in the US! The company prides itself on
the quality of its products and its ability to quickly meet requirements for
its customer’s custom designs.

Quality Technician II Job Duties:

• Inspecting
  and verifying parts, including dimensional checks, welds, finishes,
  markings, and component configurations, typically using visual inspection
  and simple tools
• Reviewing
  material test reports (MTRs) and confirming they meet required standards
• Conducting
  basic root cause analysis for materials and collaborating with Engineering
  and Purchasing
• Utilizing
  Oracle materials management software to electronically record and track
  materials
• Performing
  weekly process audits in various production departments and creating audit
  reports

Quality Technician II Job Requirements:

• 2+
  years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
• Experience
  with print reading, defect recognition, and finishing
• Proficiency
  with tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and digital
  indicators
• Strong
  communication, computer, and mathematical skills
• Ability
  to perform detailed visual inspections

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm OR 5:00am – 1:30pm
