Job Description:Due to continued business success, resulting in the opening of a new depot in Reading in early 2025, I am now recruiting a Regional Account Manager for my client, a major supplier of site welfare and equipment, renowned for their great eco credentials.The RAM will focus on driving new revenue in and around the M4 Corridor, growing the pipeline of opportunity and seeking out new business opportunities in advance of the depot opening. Your role is about identifying prospects, being an expert on all contracts awarded in your area, knowing your competitors and making and developing lasting multi-point relationships with key customer contactsAbout youI am looking for a business development focused Regional Account Manager who understand the hire/construction industry and has the energy, drive and tenacity coupled with the ability to research and identify future business prospects, raising awareness in advance of the depot opening.It goes without saying, that you should possess excellent skills in engagement, networking, and relationship building.Skills and attributes:

• Current success in hunting new sales leads – Welfare experience would be great but more importantly, you should have a solid career in hire

• People focused with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Proactive and self-motivated with strong commercial acumen

• Ideally based in or around the Reading area with knowledge of the construction and infrastructure projects and customers in the area.
