ROLE PURPOSE
The Master Data Management Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization. This position involves collaborating with various teams, including IT, ERP implementation, and business units, to manage and maintain master data standards and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and experience with MDM tools and technologies.
Develop, implement, and maintain master data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure data consistency across systems.
Monitor and maintain master data records, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Assist in the design and implementation of MDM solutions and tools, including data modeling, data governance frameworks, and workflows.
Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training and support to business units on best practices related to master data management.
Develop and maintain documentation related to master data processes, data definitions, and data governance.
Participate in data migration projects and support ERP system implementations from a master data perspective.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in master data management and data governance

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of [X] years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related roles.
Strong understanding of MDM principles, data quality management practices, and data governance frameworks.
Experience with MDM tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica MDM, SAP Master Data Governance, etc.) is highly desirable.
Proficient in data analysis, data modeling, and data profiling techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)) are a plus.
