What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Data Scientist [Summer 2025]

Join our dynamic and international team, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to bring products to life. In this role, you will combine data-driven insights and content development to enhance SAP SIX Experience Journeys. You will gain hands-on experience in product content development, market research, and data-driven storytelling, contributing to SAP’s cutting-edge solutions. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in product management, design, product marketing, and data analysis, while also leveraging data analysis and predictive modeling to ensure content quality, validation, and testing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze data to support decision-making, inform content creation, and enhance SAP SIX Experience Journeys.
• CX Solution Advisory Team Support: Work closely with the CX Solution Advisory Team to map customer business requirements with SAP Customer Data Platform and assist in preparing customer demo configurations and setups for tailored demonstrations.
• Predictive Modeling & Research: Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast trends, optimize content strategies, and improve product performance.
• Content Development & Data-Driven Storytelling: Build high-quality content using data insights to create compelling narratives, video assets, and visuals for product demos and communications.
• Market & Business Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning, providing valuable insights to influence product strategy.
• Content Scalability & Validation: Ensure content developed is scalable, reusable, and validated for different products, ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency.
• Collaboration with PMO & Engineers: Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) and Demo Engineers to ensure alignment on product documentation, demo environments, and product content requirements.
• Quality Assurance & Feedback: Participate in quality assurance testing for demos, providing actionable feedback based on data analysis to ensure content accuracy and product consistency.
• Internal Communication & Knowledge Sharing: Design and maintain internal collaboration channels like SAP Workzone and MS Teams to share insights, updates, and best practices across teams.

 

What you bring:

 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
 

• Education: Bachelors or Masters Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field
• Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Matlab, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly valuable. Experience with MS Office Suite, CAD, and market research methodologies is beneficial.
• Machine Learning & Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of basic ML algorithms, data structures, and statistical analysis techniques to support data-driven decision-making.
• Creative & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to analyze data, derive actionable insights, and contribute to product marketing and content strategies through data storytelling.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent ability to present insights clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment.
• Soft Skills: Enthusiastic, open-minded, result-oriented, communicative, self-driven, and reliable, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Detail-Oriented & Innovative: A passion for data-driven innovation, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

We create end-to-end demos for SAP solutions, enhancing customer and partner engagement across offline, online, experience centers, and trial use cases.

Specialized in Customer Experience (CX), we help customers deliver consistent, contextual experiences across all channels and devices. We bridge the gap between the back office and the front office, connecting demand to the supply chain.

Our international team collaborates virtually to build demos, co-create with partners, and drive innovation. We are actively involved in Experience Centers, providing interactive experiences for customers. We support field teams in showcasing SAP solutions globally with high-quality live demos, demo scripts, videos, and documentation.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
