SC First Steps 4K Teacher | Columbia, Blythewood | $300 Hiring Bonus*The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking SC First Steps 4K Lead and Assistant Teachers for our school in Columbia on Clemson Rd.* and our school on Wilson Blvd. in Blythewood. No nights or weekends! We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you.Pay rate: $16-$19 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials.

• Implement the SC state First Steps 4K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child’s education and development.
• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Requirements

• Assistant: ECD 101 or CDA required.

• Lead: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required.
• At least 30 days of experience at a licensed childcare center required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
