Security Engineer

NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group

What is the purpose/mission of the position?

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing infrastructure and service architectures with security criteria, defining and analyzing security policies and standards, deploying security controls, managing and monitoring risks, and creating procedures and documentation. You will work closely with other departments and teams to ensure the security of our organization’s data and systems.

The main objectives of this position are to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to our organization’s information systems and data, and to ensure that our security measures are up-to-date and effective.

What you are going to do

• Support in coordinating and executing security operations and initiatives.

• Analyze and design infrastructure and service architectures with security criteria.

• Define/analyze company, organizational, and industry security standards and policies.

• Deploy security controls and manage and monitor risks.

• Create procedures, documentation, and tracking reports.

• Manage and monitor contracts with third parties related to security.

• Execute or automate security operational activities.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in IT security.

• Knowledge of security and general IT regulations ( SO 27001, Cobit, ITIL, OWASP )

• GDPR / Handling of AWS and/or Azure.

You will be working in a small cross-functional Agile scrum team, side by side with engineers and skilled functional maintainers. You will be continually engaging in technical discussions to refine user stories so our customers can enjoy a smoother experience across our channels.
