As a SEN Teacher, you will involve specialised teaching tailored to meet the individual needs of students across primary and secondary schools. You will create engaging lessons that align with the curriculum for the students with special needs and prepare them for success in their studies and future academic goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to empower young minds and help them thrive.Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

  • Deliver specialised teaching to students with SEND needs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Support students in one-to-one or small group settings.
  • Help students understand and engage with the syllabus according to key stages.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Work closely with SENCOs, staff, and guardians to upgrade the academic strategies.

Requirements of the SEN Teacher:

  • Holding QTS is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in any field.
  • Prior experience as a SEN Teacher is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
