Requirements
The O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law was established in 2007 through the generous philanthropy of Linda and Timothy O’Neill to respond to the need for innovative solutions to the most pressing global health concerns. In bringing together experts from both the public health and legal fields, the O’Neill Institute reflects the importance of public and private law in health policy analysis. Housed at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., the O’Neill Institute draws upon Georgetown’s considerable intellectual resources, including the School of Nursing and Health Studies, the School of Medicine, the McCourt School of Public Policy, and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.
The Senior Associate will work on projects and/or academic research projects and explore new policy areas. Work includes preparation of white papers, organization of research colloquia, expert meetings, coordination of interdisciplinary research team, and grant writing. Academic projects involve working closely with faculty to produce scholarly works for publication. In some case, this work will result in joint publication. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Work Interactions
The Senior Associate will report to the Co-Directors, Health Policy and the Law. Externally, they communicate with partners and funders as necessary for assigned projects. Internally, the incumbent communicates with other institutes, clinics and professors as needed to obtain information relevant to research projects.

Pay Range
The projected hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $66,783.00 – 153,600.00 USD Annually. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
