(And don’t forget, every second Friday off! )Location: Hybrid and fully flexible working, with our offices based near Reading at RG7 4PR. You will be onsite about 3 days per week.Salary Range starts at: £43,930, this is open to upwards negotiation if you have the skills and experience that we need.What’s exciting is:You will be joining the business as it embarks on one of the most complex infrastructure programmes in the country at a pivotal moment in its evolution. The UK government has committed substantial investment into improving our infrastructure, so we are building a talented team to make the most of this opportunity.A typical day for a Senior Auditor could look like this:Leading and supporting the development of initiatives aligned with the audit strategyGains agreement to audit findings and follow-up of audit issues and actions in collaboration with stakeholdersDelivering high quality audits within agreed timelinesLeading and supporting implementation of best practiceIdentifying and developing improvements to the end-to-end audit processCoaching and mentoring team membersWe would like you to demonstrate or have experience of:Negotiating and collaborationKnowledge and application of modern audit and risk managementtechniquesProficiency with audit techniques to address specific focus ofindividual audit & consultancy assignmentsEngaging with senior leaders to facilitate implementation of recommendationsDeveloping a teamYour CV will stand out if we see the following:Background in a Science & Technology / Project based / regulatedorganisationsChartered or Certified member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, or equivalentSpecialist Professional, Technical, Project Management or ChangeWe recognise that you may not tick every single box but that doesn’t mean we won’t be interested in seeing an application from you so do go ahead and apply now!Everyone who works at AWE brings unique skills and perspectives to the table.Some reasons we think you’ll love it here:AWE has wide range of benefits to suit you.
