Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level Business Data Analyst with strong Python, SQL, and Excel (Macros) skills for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing data, and communicating key insights to stakeholders. This role involves putting together detailed requirements in JIRA and defining tasks for the team. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Analyze business data using Python and SQL to provide actionable insights.
• Create and manage complex macros in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Define tasks in JIRA and track progress through the development cycle.
• Ensure timely and clear communication of project status and deliverables.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis.
• Expertise in creating and managing Excel macros.
• Experience using JIRA to manage tasks and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for business analysis and reporting.

Huge Plus:
 

• Hands on experience or exposure to Microsoft Fabric/Power automate is a huge plus.
