What You Will Get To Do:

• Use technical expertise to analyze large and varied datasets
• Build and maintain models to estimate client and product profitability and summarize findings for executive leadership
• Develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies and models for medical and pharmacy deals based on current business and competitive market dynamics
• Create and maintain benchmarking comparisons for successful and unsuccessful pricing proposals
• Build and maintain relationships with outside consultants to understand SS&C’s competitive position in the market
• Communicate insights and limitations of analyses clearly, document assumptions, and present work product in a professional, visually appealing way
• Partner with other teams to craft winning proposals, highlight financial drivers, and recommend actions to improve operational efficiency
• Project margin impact from changes in pricing, client activity, or environmental factors
• Assist in building and maintaining team’s MySQL database and C# / R code-base for fast, accurate analytics
• Recommend areas for improved team efficiency or enhanced analytics

What You Will Bring:

• Demonstrated ability to tailor written and verbal communications for the intended audience
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of pride in work product
• Strong critical thinking and natural curiosity
• Ability to prioritize projects and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings
• Proficiency writing MySQL / SQL queries and writing code in R, Python, C# or other data analytics languages
• Advanced skill analyzing and displaying data in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Economics or related field
• 3 years of related work experience minimum; 5+ years preferred
• Related experience in pharmacy benefit management and health plan markets
