KennedyPearce are hiring a Senior Management Accountant on a pemanent basis for a luxury retailer based in South West London. The position will support the Finance Controller and the role will suit an individual who has an attention to detail, is communicative but also an aptitude for working independently. The role will manage 4 people, 1 qualified and 3 non qualified and for this role we are seeking a Qualified Accountant. Please note this role is 5 days per week in the office which offers an onsite gym.We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:
- Manage Management Accountant, Finance Assistant and oversight of Accounts Payable function
- Lead preparation of monthly management accounts
- Lead annual audit process
- VAT (including One Stop Shop) & Tax management across different countries
- Maintains bank relationships
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review with FC and FD
- Management of fixed asset register
- Execution of various ad hoc tasks as and when requested
- Process improvements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of working as a Management Accountant in a fast paced, commercial environment
- Qualified accountant
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to build positive relationships with both finance and commercial teams.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and reporting applications – Oracle Netsuite is a plus
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
