Job Description

Our QA Engineering Tooling Squad focuses on providing advanced test tooling solutions to streamline test management, development and execution. By leveraging tools such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium and BrowserStack, along with K6 for performance testing, the team ensures that Danske Bank developers maintain efficient, consistent and automated software validation for web and mobile platforms. Additionally, the QA Engineering Tooling Squad offers consultation on automation strategies, CI/CD integration and quality engineering best practices.

As a Senior QA IT Software Engineer, you will focus on key initiatives such as driving test automation adoption across Danske Bank software development squads, creating scalable guidelines and tooling artefacts to enhance test automation practices, and integrating with internal systems and test case management tooling. QA IT Software Engineers will also focus on integrating bank developer applications with QA testing tools and frameworks.

You will:

  • Collaborate within the squad to accomplish both long-term squad missions and short-term sprint goals
  • Contribute to delivering unified squad objectives, ensuring teamwork and cooperation
  • Step outside your area of expertise when necessary to meet squad goals
  • Be open to feedback and continuously learn and improve
  • Manage squad composition and ensure effective time management
  • Resolve dependencies with other squads and explain the value of technical tasks
  • Participate in architecture building within the squad

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) projects
  • Strong full-stack development skills, particularly in Java and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with GitHub environments and version control workflows
  • Experience with Docker and virtual machine operations
  • Proficiency in system integration and building CI/CD pipelines using YAML and DevOps practices
  • Expertise in test automation, including API, performance and UI testing with tools like Playwright and k6
  • Willingness to experiment, collaborate with vendors and take ownership of resolving integration challenges
  • Open, transparent and willing to share knowledge with others
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
