Job Title: Senior Revit TechnicianLocation: LeicesterSalary: Up to £50kHours of Work: Monday to Friday 9 – 5Type: Office/Site basedStart Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)We are hiring for a Senior Revit Technician for one of our clients in the Leicester area.Duties of a Senior Revit Technician:

• Lead the creation, management, and coordination of Revit models for structural projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Work collaboratively with engineers to develop structural designs and provide technical support to the team during the design and construction phases.
• Ensure all drawings and models are of the highest quality and adhere to industry standards, company practices, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any technical issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and team members, helping to develop their skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage BIM processes and work with other disciplines to ensure effective coordination of the Revit model.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and contribute to the overall management of project timelines and deliverables.

Skills and experience of a Senior Revit Technician:

• Extensive experience as a Revit Technician, with a minimum of 5 years working in structural engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality 3D models and drawings.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building construction.
• Experience working on large and complex structural projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:

• HND, HNC, or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Experience with other software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Tekla.
• Experience with BIM and BIM management processes.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a technical team.
