GuidePoint Security is looking to hire a Service Operations Lead for our Application Security Professional Services team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of service operations, application security, and professional services delivery. This role is pivotal in managing the operational aspects of service delivery, ensuring that our security services are implemented and managed efficiently, and driving continuous improvement across processes and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
· Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Application Security Professional Services team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of security services to clients.
· Service Delivery: Oversee the deployment, integration, and optimization of application security solutions for clients, ensuring the services are delivered according to agreed-upon SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and quality standards.
· Process Improvement: Identify, implement, and monitor best practices for service delivery, continually improving operational workflows, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
· Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with leadership, technical consultants, project managers, and engineering teams to align operational processes with business goals and customer requirements.
· Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop, monitor, and report on operational performance metrics, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and identifying areas for improvement.
· Escalation Management: Handle escalations, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for operational incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on clients.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, applying lessons learned to optimize service offerings, enhance team capabilities, and elevate the client experience.
Required Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in service operations, project management, or a similar role, ideally within the application security, IT security, or professional services space.
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of application security principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, secure software development lifecycle, threat modeling).
· Leadership: Proven experience managing teams or leading cross-functional efforts in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve operational challenges and improve service delivery.
· Service Delivery: Experience with service delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and the ability to manage multiple service delivery initiatives concurrently.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Client-Focused: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality services and ensuring client satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certifications: Relevant certifications in application security or service management (e.g., CISSP, CEH, ITIL).
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
· Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, SmartSheets) and security tools (e.g., static/dynamic analysis tools, vulnerability scanners, etc).
