Shop Helper

A leading steel manufacturing company has an opening on their team for a Shop / Laser Helper in this full-time, temp-to-hire position.

This is a great opportunity to gain and grow your skills and work with a company that values you and your success! They love to cross train and will even certify you on forklift and crane!

Shop Helper Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading the laser machines
• Using power tools and deburring tools to clean and prep parts
• Locate and pull materials
• Train and certify on sit-down forklift

You will be successful in this role if you are eager to learn new skills and love to be active on the job.

Schedule Options:

• Day: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
• Swing: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm : Training will be on day shift 6am-2:30pm or a mid shift with a start of 12pm

Shop Helper Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50lbs with or without restrictions
• Previous machine or shop experience
• Comfortable learning how to operate a forklift
• Steel toe boots

Pay: $20-22/hr. depending on experience
