A distributor of production
supplies for motor repairs and assembly markets is adding a Machine Operator to their team!

In this machine operator role you will be loading materials onto the machines, setting widths and dimensions on the machines, using calipers and other tools of measurement and verifying output. Must be very comfortable with reading and determining measurements, using analog calipers, and comfortable with basic math and conversions.

The position is full-time, and temporary-to-hire. It’s a great opportunity to join a team that embraces what makes each employee unique, and utilizes individual strengths.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operates machinery, transport
  material, verify dimensions of product and perform required quality
  inspections

• Daily review and completion of
  required production paperwork

• Detect and report defective
  materials and/or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor

• Uphold quality and safety
  standards by performing operator level preventive maintenance, and checks
  & services on machinery as required

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $20-$23/hr

Machine Operator Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read and interpret
  documents such as production orders, safety rules, operating and
  maintenance instructions
• Able to read rulers and do math conversions – decimals to fractions

• Knowledge of basic machinery
  set-up

• Ability to use calipers (analog)
