Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead IT Support Engineer to assist in developing our Corporate IT team. This role involves supporting day-to-day IT operations, driving major IT projects including infrastructure improvements, automation, and compliance projects, and ensuring seamless business continuity. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our current tech stack and network infrastructure across all office locations globally and will contribute strategically to the management and optimization of our IT resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading strategic IT initiatives that align with organizational goals, focusing on infrastructure robustness, network stability, and security enhancements.
  • Drive innovations and improvements in IT processes and infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, access points, VPNs, and security solutions, as required.
  • Manage the procurement process for software and hardware, ensuring strategic investment and resource optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including SOX, focusing on the SaaS portfolio, network, security and data protection.
  • Provide comprehensive IT support, resolving Tier 1, 2, and 3 issues, and managing escalated technical problems.
  • Develop and automate processes to improve system efficiencies and business continuity, utilizing scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Lead IT projects from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT workflows and projects, particularly aligning with automation and compliance enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage software/hardware procurements effectively.

6 Month Accomplishments:

  • Develop relationships with the IT team and direct cross-functional teams
  • Have a firm understanding of the IT systems and owning organization global network infrastructure
  • Able to think outside the box and be resourceful in troubleshooting all technical issues in regards to hardware, software, networking and SaaS platform access and connections
  • Assist in any IT project needs that align with organizational growth (SOX compliance, automation, improvements)
  • Develop Jira projects and workflows on-demand in alignment with SOX compliance
  • Assist in further IT security implementations with projects in the pipeline

12+ Month Accomplishments:

  • Standardized global network infrastructure and ensure that configuration and maintenance is in alignment with SOX compliance and IT security standards
  • Cross-trained across ALL IT systems to have a minimum of administration knowledge of the systems
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of regulatory compliance standards surrounding IT security across all IT systems and infrastructure
  • Ability to help hire/train new teammates as the company grows
  • Oversee and manage projects surrounding process improvements in area of ownership or take on challenging projects of other areas
  • Developing and executing automation, projects, and workflows in close collaboration with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in IT support roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a more senior position.
  • Strong experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Proficient in network hardware configuration including firewalls, switches, and access points.
  • Knowledgeable in IT compliance and regulatory standards, such as SOX compliance.
  • Proficient with enterprise workflow management systems, particularly JIRA and other Atlassian products.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to work and the ability to manage priorities and workload effectively.

Salary Range:

$96,600.00 – $161,750.00 Annual
