Job description
We are looking for a University Hiring Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Senior Director Talent Acquisition and is based in San Jose, California. This is a fully on-site, in office role.Role and Responsibilities:
- Developing University Recruiting Strategies, Identify target schools and programs that align with organization’s hiring needs and create strategies to attract top talent from those institutions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with career services, faculty, and student organizations at universities to enhance Bloom’s brand and presence on campus. You will also coordinate campus recruiting events, job fairs, and networking sessions.
- Manage intern programs and ensuring alignment with the company’s needs and offer valuable experience to interns.
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Actively source and screen candidates from university channels. Create standardized methods to evaluate talent and leverage automation to make the process efficient
- Work closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand requirements and help with the candidate selection process
- Promoting Employer Brand and Highlight the benefits and career opportunities available at Bloom
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics such as offer acceptance rates, diversity metrics, and retention rates to evaluate the effectiveness of the university hiring strategy and adjust as needed.
- Managing Candidate Experience by ensuring that candidates have positive experiences throughout the recruitment process. This includes timely communication, offering feedback, and providing resources to help candidates make informed decisions.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of education in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business, Humanities, Business Management or related degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in design and managing university/new college grad hiring programs
- Experience in managing relationships with university career services organizations and employee branding on campuses
- Track record of using data and insights to drive change and implement new initiatives
- Strong communication skills, ability to clearly articulate insights to a wide range of audiences (technical & non-technical)
- Strong program management and organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and work with multiple business partners.
- Intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and high attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment, prioritizing and executing on the most critical projects
Salary Ranges: $137,800.00 – $198,200.00
