Job Summary

Looking for a Stage Manager for a new show for babies and their parents. The show will tour to theatres, libraries and community spaces throughout 2025.

Job Description

Tiny and Tall Productions (formerly Tessa Bide Productions) are seeking an experienced Stage Manager for their upcoming tour of A Tale of Us, a new show for parents and babies (0-18 months), directed by Jade Lewis and written by Sharon Kanolik.

The SM will need to be based in London and hold a UK driver’s license.

Rehearsals: 17th-21st & 24th-28th March, London

Performances:
29 March – Yate Library
2 April – Front Room, Weston Super Mare
11 April – Brycheiniog, Wales
12-13 April – Sterts Arts, Cornwall
15-17 April – Brixton House
22-25 April – Hampshire Libraries
9 May – Pegasus Theatre, Oxford
12-16 May – Hertfordshire Libraries
23 May – Derby Theatre
29 May – Sheffield Theatres

Pay: £600 p/week or £175 p/day + £34.13 per diems for each overnight stay.

Job Requirements

Required skills:
-Drive large car (with set and performer) to performances
-Set up lighting and sound: in theatre venues this will be using the theatre’s rig alongside the venues’ technicians – they will operate the show, in library/community settings, this will be using T&T’s PA system
-Facilitating audience interaction alongside the performer. Some elements of performance and puppetry required.
-Carry out simple repairs on set, costume and props
-Write show reports for each performance
