Job Title: Assistant SuperintendentJob DescriptionWe have an immediate opening for an Assistant Superintendent to join our team and work on a variety of projects. This is a full time contract to hire position with full benefits. Please only apply if seeking a long-term job opportunity. This is not a short term contract. Benefits are provided.Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Assist with scheduling and overseeing subcontractors.
• Ensure the construction site is clean and free of debris.
• Assist in the field as needed and collaborate with subcontractors.
• Complete construction site checklists with strong attention to detail.
• Provide reliable communication and keep the team informed of time spent on tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in construction.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating.
• Carpentry skills.
• Drywall installation.
• Tenant improvements.
• Construction site safety management.
• Experience managing subcontractors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical/clean room projects.
• Experience in commercial/tenant improvement projects.
• Previous experience working for a general contractor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes an office trailer on-site. Typical working hours are from 5am to 1:30pm, with some opportunities for overtime. The role may require occasional night or weekend work depending on project demands. The dress code includes a hard hat, jeans, and work boots.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 – $43.27/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
