As a Technical Operations Manager, you will define, own, and execute operational strategies that drive excellence across our global Technology organization.

You will play a pivotal role in driving a cultural change to enable speed of delivery, system reliability, and cross-functional alignment, while ensuring that Datavant’s teams can operate efficiently and innovate responsibly. This is a high-impact role at the center of how Datavant builds and runs technology at scale.

What You Will Do

• Define and lead global operational frameworks to drive engineering excellence and predictability across all technology verticals while also improving system health and reliability,
• Standardize processes, tools, and reporting, creating visibility across delivery, capacity planning and incident management.
• Define and lead a global AI strategy that drives automation, standardization, and AI-enabled practices to enhance developer experience and productivity.
• Lead operational integrations for newly acquired companies, ensuring seamless alignment with Datavant’s IT, Security and technology standards and reporting cadence.
• Implement data-driven metrics and dashboards to measure uptime, performance, capacity, and delivery velocity.
• Partner cross-functionally with leaders in Engineering, Infrastructure, Product, and Security to define shared operational goals and success measures and architectural alignment.

What You Need to Succeed

• 7+ years of experience in technical operations, software development and large-scale engineering management.
• Proven success in defining strategies and rolling out operational frameworks that improve transparency, visibility and performance.
• Strong understanding of incident management, observability, CI/CD, capacity planning, and engineering productivity metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and the strong ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
• A mindset focused on data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, and automation
• Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:

€124.000—€155.000 EUR
