Senior Associate, Risk Consulting (Global Banking)
 

Focus: Quantitative Validation for AML Models

Overview:
RSM is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing Global Banking Risk Consulting Practice with a focus on AML model validation and quantitative analytics. This role supports the financial crime and AML consent order efforts of top global banks by delivering high-quality validation and compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform AML model validation using tools like Python, R, or Actimize, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assess and enhance IT audit and control processes related to AML and financial crime risks.
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights for model improvement and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver effective client solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

Quantitative Analytics: Proficiency in Python, R, Actimize, or similar programming tools. AML Expertise: Experience with AML models preferred; strong audit/control testing background is acceptable. Experience: At least 5 years in a relevant role with exposure to financial services or risk consulting.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with frameworks like FFIEC, COSO, or COBIT.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are a plus.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $56 – $84 per hour
