• Design, develop, maintain a scalable and robust automation framework and scripts.
• Analyze key test requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies.
• Able to lead, mentor and guide a team of QA engineers in automation best practices.
• Troubleshoot pipeline for CI/CD testing and enhance existing frameworks.
• Able to estimate, plan, prioritize and present test execution cycles to the delivery team.
• Works with minimal supervision and lead multiple tasks simultaneously.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience as a Manual or Automation Test Engineer.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Javascript or Typescript).
• Strong experience on any of the following frameworks: Selenium Webdriver, Webdriverio (Nodejs, Typescript), Playwright, Cypress, Karate Framework
• Solid understanding of API architectures ie: REST with strong experience in validating API request and responses.
• Experience with CICD, version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, JIRA etc.).
• Experience in mobile automation testing (Appium, Browserstack, Katalon, Espresso etc.)
• Experience in BDD/TDD methodologies (Cucumber)
• Knowledge and/or experience on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
• Knowledge and/or experience in Performance testing (JMeter)
• Develop and implement test strategies and plans that ensure comprehensive test coverage for all phases of the SDLC.
• Define and monitor test milestones, deliverables, and timelines to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with business needs and project objectives.
• Manage the test environment setup and coordinate with various teams to ensure proper testing resources are available.
• Worked with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent in spoken and written communication skills.

 

 

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

• Knowledge of AI tools similar to Github Copilot and Generative AI (ChatGPT).
• ISTQB or any QA Certifications are desirable.
