NYO is seeking new Trustees to join the Board and contribute their experience, ideas and enthusiasm in supporting the continued growth and sustainability of NYO’s symphony and jazz orchestras. Whether you are a parent, former member, arts professional, community leader or simply someone passionate about giving young people access to high-quality music opportunities, NYO would love to hear from you.
You do not need previous trustee experience to apply. NYO welcomes first-time trustees alongside experienced board members and will provide support and induction to help you succeed. The charity organisation is particularly interested in people with experience or interest in:

RECRUITMENT & RETENTION – Helping strengthen recruitment and retention within orchestra membership
COMMUNITY LINKS & PARTNERSHIPS
Building relationships with schools, arts organisations, sponsors & communities
ARTISTIC / CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT – Supporting artistic vision, audience engagement and programme development
